@Fionn MacCumhaille : Sure, I would even suggest that he would not have tried her at all. Badbh is the fiercest of all, as you well know. As a matter of fact, the two brothers, Oghme and Dagda, do not have a perfect relationship with the three faced goddess (there's a passage in the Book of Invasions, where one of them tries to engage her, only he's drunk, which seldom is a favorite among women, and he receives what he deserves ; I'll have to dig in my doc, to find this passage)

Am I imagining that the wolfskin's face chances expression ever so slightly in each panel? It looks sort of smirky in the first one, then it looks thoughtful, then it looks a little worried.. At least.. I think so.

Doesn't mean he's got it easy. Morrigan (all three of them) is one of the most powerful goddesses in Irish theology. She's also one you do NOT want to make an enemy out of. So I'm betting Oghme is going to be fairly cautions even around Macha.
